what is this? android malware?

This picture keeps populating all by itself and I have no idea where it is coming from.
I don't have any no name apps. I haven't done Anything on my phone that would cause it to get a virus or malware...

Looks like its from the game Logo Quiz Ninja. Do you have that installed?

Is your X a custom one? If not I'm wondering if you got a refurb and the previous owner installed the game.

Install a virus scanner, scan your phone and see if it shoes a malware app, and then uninstall the virus scanner. My wife's phone was doing something similar and the app causing it was a wallpaper and background app. YMMV

Phone was seal in a box, never used.
Have had Lookout AV installed since day one. It says everything is fine.

Will Try a full reset and see what happens

It's just art for one of the game you installed, that's too cute to be virus. You can simply go in each image, open the menu and tap on details to see where it's located.

Is this the grid from your photo Gallery? I.e, are they just photos? You can try long pressing the thumbnails and deleting them,if so.

Also, if you are on some social media site like Facebook or G+, you may be accumulating thumbnails from user avatars and photos, etc. when it syncs to Facebook, etc.

I'm having this issue as well. the files are "logo ninja support files", I've located and deleted them using a file manager but they keep coming back. I can't get rid!

Not sure but I think they might have come from a game which my niece was playing on my tablet (now uninstalled).

Did you have luck removing these?
