This has been running on my wife's Rezound for 2 days. Found the picture and deleted it, but this still continues to be active. Restarted phone and tried to narrow down the cause with no solution. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like she tried or its trying to upload a picture to Facebook. It looks like a jpeg.file. Try going into settings. Under apps. Select Facebook. And clear cache. Then hit Force Stop. Hopefully it stops. If not Clear Data under Facebook. But if you do this you will have to sign in again.

Tried that and facebook is even disabled at this point, along with Gmail. Its really just an annoying thing. It's killing her battery i guess hmmm factory reset maybe. Both rezounds we have have acted strange since ics. They work just a few quirky things here and there.

Did you try pulling the battery with the phone still running? Maybe it's another app causing it. Check battery use to. Try going into gallery and force stopping that since it's a pic. Jpeg.file

Holy .. I'm all out of options other than a factory reset. Hopefully someone else can chime in and help before that. Sorry my friend.

I've had this happen before. If you were rooted I'd say just uninstall FB. Not sure if that's possible non-rooted. At least uninstall any FB updates, see if that gets you anywhere.

Batt pull should kill it.

You mentioned you pulled the sd card but the rezound has two, an internal and removable external. Make sure the picture isn't on the internal.

Maybe plug into pc, download all pics as a backup, then delete all pics off the phone.

Also go to settings, account & sync, and remove the FB account. (you can always reinstall latee)

You'll find the ol factory reset will cure many problems but it's overkill in a lot of cases.
