I had been Galaxy Note 2 with Jellybean back then, so I was used to the black theme. And then I switch to Windows phone (WP8.1) which is a great phone.

Until recently I change back to Samsung Galaxy S6, I fine the changes from Jellybean to Lollipop was a good change. I mean most of the UI looks much more polished and unified. And the white theme simply look more elegant.

But I saw a lot of comment about Google / samsung screw up on Lollipop. Which I can't make sense of those comment. At least my experience with Lollipop on GS6 is great so far, and I love it.

Can share on here what are the issue you guys facing or complaint about?

I cannot take any more of the battery drain in standby

Re: What with all the complaint about Android Lollipop?

The main problem I have is the RAM issue, but I'm hoping this will be fixed in due course. I don't have any battery drain on standby, I don't mind the colouring of the UI, all is well in my camp :) Android M will be interesting, a better, polished version of Android L

They are seeing cell standby and RAM management issues. This is not the case or experience with all owners however.

This is one of the problems, you can't please everyone all the time.

Also, some people are getting issues, some aren't, bear in mind the numerous devices this can run on and also the freedom Android gives you compared to iOS, you are bound to get more issues as people can change more and more things on their devices.

Thankfully, thus far, had no issues personally speaking, yet a colleague, with the same handset has a few small issues.

Personally the only things that I'm not a big fan of lollipop is all the white backgrounds in menus and features. As someone who normally works nights, and is a night person in general, it can be blinding in a dark or dimly lit room. I also find it funny that people will say that they love lollipop for all of its color coded features (contacts and settings, ect) but then will then say something like they hate Touchwiz for all of its clown colors.

Personally, I love the fact that I can just change the theme and get rid of both the clown colors of lollipop and all the whites. I'll bet it's why I have better than normal SoT as I just don't have all of them whites in all of my menus, while looking far better than stock at the same time.

Not a big fan of the bright colors but I like that unifying similar tasks has started with the GS6. Still the best iteration of Touchwiz in years.

Hi, it would be great if you can elaborate more about the RAM issue.

I don't have battery drain issue. However there was an occasion that my carrier data plan got issue the mobile Internet is totally down. I notice the battery drain a lot faster that time compare to normal time. I suspect it's because the phone actively keep trying to push some packet out if the phone (endlessly)... but this shouldn't be Lollipop issue.

At first I was like wow nice and fast and snappy.... But I have 2 major issues that will force me to do a factory reset very soon.

SMS and chat messages now have a giant banner that appears over the top of what Im doing on the phone and half the things I use have button at the top of the screen. Now IM constantly clicking on these giant notifications by accident.

There was nothing wrong with just using the status bar for notifications in fact that was perfect. Now Im constantly having to wait for things to go away before I can continue what im doing. Why would I want a giant banner! Im not blind I can see the status bar. And I can just pull it down and look if I miss it. Whats next ? Every time I get an email your going to drive to my house and knock on my door to tell me? AHHH!!!!!

2nd big issue is theyve disabeled os features that app I have use. I use switcher for example because I constantly switch back and forth between apps I have running and now that takes 10 time longer because switcher isnt able to see running apps anymore.

Doesn't sound like much but its making it incredibly frustrating to do anything that I used to.

Now IM going to have to factory reset and spend months getting my things back how I want them.

All my photos and images will be gone. Yes I can copy it all to my laptop but I want them on my phone!.

Please someone is there any way I can avoid a factory reset? Can I turn of these stupid banner notifications at least?

I've never really had a good battery life since I got the thing, but I don't know if this is a problem with the phone or Lollipop..

Well those of us using Samsung galaxy s4's have issues with message center settings missing so if you switch carriers like I did you can't Chang the message center number (smsc ) to new carrier's number so can't send a simple sms.
