Estimated delivery is MONDAY! Should I go to the store and ask for what they may have in stock on Friday?

Mine said it was processing/backordered for a while but it has SHIPPED! I ordered mine in store and had it shipped to the store to avoid paying the shipping fees. Here's my rundown:

Even though I signed up for email notifications when it's delivered, I'm checking the site constantly for updates. I plan to pick it up and activate it today. I should note that my medialink is still processing so that must be backordered.

Just got an email that mine just shipped! Better late than never. I requested overnight, but it says it shipped UPS. Anyone know if that means its coming ground? Kinda sounds like it...

I placed my order last week and I am still seeing a pending shipment. So I called AT&T and they said my phone should ship out on the 18th. WTF! Even their site is saying phones will be shipped today the 17th if purchased now. Why would you advertise that on your site when you cannot ship phones preordered from a week ago?? I don't get it.

If you item hasn't moved yet and UPS only received the shipment information, see what it says tomorrow. Sometimes that date is a "worst case" estimate and then updated once UPS actually takes possession of the item. And if the date sticks, then it's a good chance you can go in the store to get one on Friday. I'm guessing you didn't use an upgrade because if you did, you'd have to buy full price unless you do something silly like adding a line out of impatience LOL.

Avoid shipping fees? It's free shipping so I am not sure why you would have shipping fees.....

Personally, if u can get it on Friday at a store, then I would do so. Then once you have device in hand cancel other order or send back for refund. That's what I was going to do, but now I'll receive my phone tomorrow. So all is good.

Well they've updated Shipping Date to 04/17/2013, however Tracking Number still says Pending Shipment. I was really hoping to be one of the early receivers, considering I'm leaving town Friday morning and won't be back until Sunday. The torture. :'(

Yes I did, within the last 45-60 minutes. However comforting it may be having a tracking number, as many know, it's rather useless coming from USPS.

In my experience UPS estimates are generally pretty spot on, but I did have something ship one time that I bought on Amazon with free Prime shipping that was guaranteed two-days, shipped on a Monday, but kept saying delivery estimate of Thursday (which would have been 3 days) all the way up until it was actually out for delivery on Wednesday. My wife's phone shipped yesterday, from Texas, and it was by UPS Ground, like yours, but it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow, so two days. Granted, I live within the same time zone as Texas, so it's not as long of a distance as some might be. It shipped yesterday and as of noon is already sitting only about a 3 hour drive away.

i just did an online chat with at&t and they said my media link shipped with my phone even though my order status still says pending shipment for that item. i guess that would explain the 2 pound weight of my package compared to people who said their shipment weight was 1 pound.
