My storm 1 died, it shoudl have only had to last until 2/14/11 after all. Verizon is getting me a refurb storm 2. Will ride that out until Dinc 2 comes out. If the thunderbolt is not out by then. I ordered a damn case for the Thunderbolt I was so sure it would be out by now.
Still no txt messages from Verizon Wireless regarding the phone

I am on month to month waiting for the smartphone of choice. It will be the thunderbolt it they ever get around to selling it to me. One thing that troubles me is the CDMA obsolescence topic. I feel that VZW has kept at the older technology in error. But that has not been enough to get me to move on to another carrier. Where I live VZW has the best coverage, coverage maps don't matter, its where the phone actually works that matters. One more thing, I will chose the handset that can be rooted easily and well. I have read that this HTC model may be more difficult. True or not?

Not. TB should be the same as other HTC models regarding Rooting and ROMS.

chrisy is right, this rumor only stared with the g2 or whatever it is called, the tmobile htc keyboard phone. tmobile requested it be locked down

There's times I feel like this phone isn't coming out at all. I am sooooooooo close to getting the Atrix or MT4G.
