I have a BB Storm 2, and am ready for it's life to be put to rest. I had high hopes for that phone as I do for this phone. I feel I will not be as disappointed with the s3. I am excited and am so impatient. Alas just like every one on VZW we most likely have to wait for shipment on the 9th. Hey at least it is finally July. I have ordered this phone almost a month ago and it seems like time has slowly ticked away. Today is one day closer. Now the next hard decision is to pick a case for it. Is there anyone gong to give their phone a name? :-\

The Motorola Droid, no X, no nothing, just the original. I'll give it to my wife so she can play "Word with Friends" over Wifi with her friends, but other than that it'll have no service on it.

LG Spectrum. I bought it new off ebay back in February. I didn't want to waste the upgrade from my AMOLED DROID Incredible because I knew the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset would be coming out soon. I planned on waiting until the S4 Pro came out, so I figured I'd have the Spectrum about a year before upgrading.

But then Verizon introduced their Screw Everybody, um I mean Share Everything plan. I used the upgrade on a 32 GB pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III. I'm thinking this may be my last 2 years with Verizon.

Anyway, Samsung offered me $200 for the Spectrum. If I can't sell it on Craigslist for $250 or more, I'll take Samsung up on its offer.

Droid Charge. It will be nice not to have to hold the phone 3" from my ear in case I get a burst of static.

That being said, I'll probably use its retirement to play around with rooting and ROMs.

battery life is terrible these days -- heavy daily usage (stream, text, youtube, facebook), and i go through almost 3 batteries a day.

Think of it this way, in two years either the share everything tiers will have been a horrible idea and they will have more competitive price points, or every other carrier will have switched over to them too... Either way, never say "this is the last time I renew with Verizon" because i can tell you from experience, that those words are *always* uttered in vain!
