What is your keyboard preference?

I use slideIT. As of Today I've been using Swiftkey X because it is given away for free today on Amazon apps. (They give away one free paid app a day)

I love Swype, been using it since last August, but decided to give SwiftKey X a try since it was offered for free on Amazon today. I must say I'm pretty impressed at how well it can predict what you want to type, and it definitely learns fast. I have to fight the urge to start swiping as soon as the keyboard pops up, but I like it so far.

I have the same problem with the swipe part as well. But I am liking Swiftkey X.

Swiftkey X by far. Tried Swype for awhile but I spent so much time correcting words that it didn't end up being any faster. Well worth the price IMO. They have a version for tablets too.

After using swift x for about a week now loving it more than slideIT. SlideIT just got an update today that now allows skin's. May have to try it out again.

You know, I love the keyboard layout of SwiftKey X, but I just couldn't keep using it.

Swype is crazy fast at the beginning, but then I think it gets confused over itself and all the accidental words that were typed by somebody else using my phone.

With SwiftKey X, not only am I slower at typing than I am with Swype, but I feel like I have to think too much to use it. Typing for me is brainless. Using SwiftKey isn't, because you look up and your next word isn't there. So you press the first key and look for your word. Still isn't there, so you press the next key and look for your word. Lather, rinse, & repeat. Add to that the fact that I feel like it's trying to tell me what my next word *should* be - rather than me typing the message I want, I end up saying something else and then wondering what on Earth I meant to say...

For me, I found that deleting the cache/data from Swype every now and then keeps it accurate for 95% of my typing. Sticking with Swype.

I used Better Keyboard 8, but then tried Swiftkey X when it was free on the amazon app market, and I havent looked back since, I love it, its faster, more predictable and like an op had said that it predicted pretty much every word i was typing for that particular sentence. I'm loving swiftkey x more and more daily

SwiftKey hands down is my favorite but here are several other favorite Keyboards to consider. You can try SwiftKey X for free for 30 days. It learns how you think and suggest words you will most likely say next. Sometimes it suggests a better word than you were thinking. It gets so good, it is a litlle scary.
