What is your Thunderbolt replacing?

hoping for the TB will replace my old LG VX8350 with a broken screen ive had since 07 LG VX8350 - Photo 1 of 4 - Mobiledia ... having this broken thing and waiting to switch to an awesome smart phone that keeps getting pushed back is making me insane

I wish I could convince my girlfriend that. She refuses to leave BlackBerry.

My girlfriend and I are both ready to jump ship. She has a Storm 2 and enjoyed it when it was new but now its turned into a POS. However we live in Indy and I have no idea when 4G would be coming here (I would assume sooner rather than later... I mean come on we host the NCAA tournament as well as the SuperBowl next year so you'd think...)... so now the whole "do I want/need a 4G phone?" question comes up. Guess I'd get one now, and if when 4G comes around I'll have it, if not... great! New phone for me!

Well, when VZ decide to man up, the TB will be replacing my Samsung Omnia running WinMo 6.1 .

Switching from Blackberry Bold to T-Bolt on a 1 yr contract.

RIM is pretty much done with general consumers. You'd have to be insane to prefer a blackberry to a droid, unless you use it strictly for business use.

Finally looking forward to a pleasant web browsing experience on my phone for the first time!

I second that. I have an LG enV2 I use for personal use, and a BlackBerry Bold 9000 for work use. The BlackBerry sucks monkey meat, and I won't even begin to describe the enV2.

The TBolt will be replacing a large spot in my wallet.

Actually, like some others, I'd be replacing my BlackBerry for a TBolt on a 1-yr contract. It'll be my first Android device! I've been looking since last summer, and have been eligible for an upgrade since last August. It's about time.

I'm done with BB for a while. I love my Storm2, but I will be due for a new phone in a couple months and they don't offer anything CLOSE to Android, plus I am in a LTE city and I want a LTE phone...I'll check back with BB in 2013 and see what 2011 style phones they are offering then!

I'm getting rid of my Storm2 myself. I had both storms, and didnt have luck with either of them. Plus after cracking my screen and only being able to use like half of it now makes it real easy for me to think about changing. Why not get the best phone coming to the market for VZW.
