What kind of case are you getting for the fascinate

I bought this from the Verizon store:

Love it.

Same here! In fact, i still have the clear plastic case (the $19 one) and it fits perfectly with the holster

Have the semi-transparent black silicon one from verizon, and I must say I like it a lot. I tried out the kickstand case, and thought it was pretty hideous, in addition to having no need for the stand. Also tried the clear plastic one, but it added a ton of bulk and I hated the look.

This case does the job, looks nice (black on black) and adds grip. All I could ask for, though the phone is dead sexy and sooo thin naked.

Not taking any chances though.

I am using the same case and an invisable shield and it working great. The phone is sexy with. O case but I know better. This case still looks good and does not add much bulk and is smooth so there is no getting stuck in my pocket. I recommend it.

I got the kick-stand case and really like it! Helps with grip, pretty thin, and the kickstand is great when it's on my desk and plugged in. I can run the desktop app and be Fascinated all day when it's not in my hands.

Link to cover.

I traded an Incredible for my Fascinate. I had the Incredible since they were released and it still looked brand new even through it went naked the whole time. Not a scratch on it front, back or sides. I just wish someone would make replacement backs for our Fascinate like the one on the Incredible.

I find cases to be redundant in general with the new phones where the entire back is replaceable. Give me rubberized replacement backs and I'd be a happy camper with a handset that is sexy and thin as intended and as grippy and durable as it is sexy.

How does the Zagg shield do going around the curved corners of the phone on the back?

And yes, I don't know when phone companies will realize that customers would prefer a finish on the back that is matte/rubberized, etc so that it won't show scratches. You'd think some aftermarket company would corner this market.

The InvisibleShield (and Zagg Skin, which I have installed) has cut-outs around the corners so that it lays flat without wrinkles. As long as you install correctly you shouldn't have any problems

I had the blue/clear half rubberized case from VZW on my first fascinate (stolen) and loved it. I just ordered one of the TPU cases from ebay, hoping I'll like it as much. I also used the full body protection from stealthguards on my last one and it worked great, didn't add too much friction to the screen. It does add a little, and looks orange peely when the screen is off, but when it's on you can't see it at all.

I have both the carbon fiber and the blue/clear dual cover and like them both.
Only thing that sucks about the carbon fiber one is it doesn't fully cover the phone.

have you received it yet?
from some of the photos it looks like it fits pretty poorly

Got a case from Verizon. The high gloss one. Smoked gray. There is a little design in it of diamonds but barely visible.

it's great fitting and just enough grip. but slides easily in and out of pockets. Adds just enough bulk.

Sounds like a tpu casement I love my tpu cases but I went through 3 blue ones till I found one that fits right. I can post pics later of the ones that don't fit compared to the ones that do.

I want to have a decent case ready b4 my new SF arrives. Love Seidio but think something simple and low-profile that makes it less slippery is what need and $30 is bit more than want to spend.

The kickstand case intrigues me as it would be great on my desk and nighstand, but keep hearing TPU case. I can find them searching but what are the best versions and from where? Thanks

How do the kickstand cases hold up? Does the stand stay secured when not in use?

It sounds like many people like it - OEM/Verizon Kickstand Case! (With matching pouch suggestion) - xda-developers

I think I'm going to give it a shot - might not be the most beautiful, but if it protects and is "grippy" it could be good.

*just ordered from VZW for $15 free shipping (corp discount) - I knew if I got a SF I'd need a case to offset the plasticy/slippery back (it along with BING and the delayed OS updates are the only real negatives I see and the former two can be fixed)
