Android Central Question

Hi! I need to get a new laptop and have no idea where to start. NOT an Apple laptop though.
I need something that is fast, especially for internet browsing with lots of tabs open. Preferably lightweight and portable, and can handle multi-tasking.
I do not game or use large programs like Photoshop. I will not be streaming Netflix or anything either. Just need something for basic internet/email/photos/YouTube mostly, so I don't want to overspend on special functions or screens.
I'm considering Lenovo Yoga, Lenovo Flex, or a Chromebook. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
(I was debating on a Chromebook but am hesitant about lack of space, limited ability offline, and trouble printing - but I also hear it's super fast)

Welcome to the forums. For basic surfing, a Chromebook is great. I have used 2 different ones, and they are great.

Sure the smaller storage can be a concern, but here is a counter question....what was the last thing you downloaded on your PC?

Thanks! What kind of Chromebooks have you use in the past? And you're right about the storage thing...last thing I think I downloaded was the Kindle app.

Sorry about the delay. Both have been Acer devices. Newest one is a Chromebook 15, CB3-532-C47C. I liked it, but my mom needed a computer, so I gave that one to her. My other one is an Acer C720.

What are you looking at spending? The only thing I would think of to look at is get one with 4 GB of RAM.

Thanks for the tips! I'm looking for something preferably under $500, so a Chromebook should definitely work for that.

I'll definitely check out those Chromebooks you listed!

The first one should be easily available. The second is rather old, you would only find them used.
