What launcher are you sporting on your note 4

You can do many things with a launcher. For me the biggest is being able to have 5x7 icons on my front page. I don't like having stuff on 3 screens that'll fit on one. Just download one and play with it. I happen to like Nova best. It's free...but if you fall in love there are a few more options with the paid Nova Prime version...

OK, explain this launcher to me? Do you just download the various option from the Play store? And what exactly does Nova for example do for you vs. TouchWiz? Sorry, I had a Note 3 for a bit, but I don't remember ever doing anything with a launcher. AND I've been with iOS for a few year so I'm no longer in touch with Android. Getting my phone today :)

Using a launcher defeats the purpose of getting a N4. Don't see why people hate TouchWiz so much. stock is boring.

What would make you think a launcher would defeat the purpose of getting a note 4?

Giving TouchWiz a chance. By the way, anyone know how to do homepage continuous scrolling?

You're spreading false info here. It doesn't defeat the purpose of getting an N4. Not in the slightest. You don't sacrifice an ounce of functionality by using a different launcher.

I use Nova Prime. Provides a ton more options for configuring my home screens and doesn't interfere with a single note specific feature.

I can't speak to the 4 yet, as I haven't had enough time to play with it, but I can say that on the Note 2, some of the interesting TouchWiz features and widgets such didn't work if you used an alternative launcher, especially some of the S Pen abilities.

That being said, I'm giving TouchWiz a chance on the 4, but I'll probably hop back over to Nova Prime for the customization factor within a few days.

Tried TW for a day after using Holo HD on my N2 for a couple years.

Installed and setup Holo tonight.

Touchwiz here. After a year of playing so much with my note 3 and constantly customizing, I'm ready to enjoy this beautiful phone as it can out of the box with some minor tweaks. It's so much better than the 3 I really don't feel the need to change it yet. Even after a week. Tried Google now launcher but the icons are just too big. Made the phone look and feel geriatric.

Just got my phone tonight. It installed Nova launcher while in was checking out in Best Buy so, I only used TW long enough to enter my Google account info.

I use Go Launcher (as well as go sms, contacts, and locker XD) just cause I can get cute themes, TBH.

I've always loved playing with different launchers. Let me ask you all something though. In other proprietary android launchers( Sense specifically) if you use a separate launcher, you lose widget functionality. Are there any must-have things in Touch-Wiz that I would miss out on going to another launcher?

Just Samsung based widgets like a health and their normal calendar. All the main s pen features will still work fine.

I am using Nova and I have found that the little pin/tack on the action memo is not there so you can pin things to your home screen. Someone on another thread said to just minimize the note so it stays floating on you screen.

I tried to use touchwiz and was able to go about 30 minutes before I had to change to Nova. I haven't found any functionality missing from the phone at this point (all s pen functions work correctly) and if you have ever used Nova, you know the functionality you gain.

Depends if you use the Samsung widgets. You can give more apps on each page on nova but it's fit fine in what I've done on my 7 pages
