What launcher do you use? I have tried several launchers and here is my impressions of them.
The stock for the bionic is fairly good. Far better than Sense on my droid incredible. What I like about the blur launcher is the dock icons are big. The dock is a place for your important app that you want to access very quick so having big icons makes this easier. Its downsides is the lack of themeing, only 4 icons on the dock and 5 screens. I don't like the way it works with folders. You have to create a folder, add icons and you have to manually close a folder when done.
ADW launcher the free one is so, so. The icons on the dock are small which I don't like. It is hard to access the hidden dock and doing so can cause icons on the main dock to become misplaced or deleted. You have to lock the screen to make use the hidden dock. You can customize it, theme it, and have as little or as many screens as you want. The way ADW handles folders is the same as stock which I don't like.
Launcher Pro is ok. Its dock is tons better than ADW launcher free version. You access the hidden dock by swiping left or right. I don't use any hidden dock, I just like 5 icons on the main and that is it. Its Icons are small though. There is lots to customize but no themes unless you get the paid version and you can theme the widgets. It handles folders same as the above two. I don't really like it.
Go Launcher is excellent. This is one of my favorites. It is fairly fast and can be customized. There are tones of themes. The folders work well. Just drag an icon on top of another and a folder is created like ICS. The folder slides out from the top when access and slides up when not needed. The dock bar has small icons which I don't like. This is a great launcher and I recommend it to even noobs and casual users.
ADW launcher EX the paid version is night and day different than its free counterpart. This is my all time favorite launcher and one I use now. The way it handles folders is carbon copy to ICS and I like that a lot and one of the main reasons why I use it. The dockbar is mostly great and can be customized and themed. The icons are a great size and unlimited can be added. You access the next set by swiping left or right. I have an ICS theme and it is very ICS on the surface which is great.
