To me, the ONLY thing the Edge offered me over the normal S6 was the "cool factor" due to it's unique look. Functionally, the "advantages" of the Edge mean nothing to me ... completely useless features.
In all other aspects, (again, to ME) the normal S6 wins ... price, feel, screen, etc. Even holding the S6 is easier than the Edge because you're not trying to flat-palm the phone to keep the sides of your hands/fingers from accidentally registered a click or swipe on the edge of the screen ... not to mention the distortion on the screen edges due to the curved glass, and the effectively smaller viewing area since the sides of the Edge screen are turned down.
Right now, the Edge seems like a gimmick to me ... MAYBE in the future, side/edge screens will mean something, and there will be real, useful features associates w/ the side/edge portions ... but right now, not so much.
I mean, really ... who can wake up, roll over, and focus on that tiny edge to read a clock or notification? I have a hard time with a normal sized clock when I'm just waking up LOL.
but again, the Edge DOES look really cool ... but that's where it stops for me.
