I'm curious about everyone's biggest deal-breakers when it comes to mobile games. We've all downloaded games that looked fun but ended up uninstalling them within minutes or hours.

What exactly made you remove the game so quickly?
Was it too many ads, boring gameplay, slow loading, paywalls, bad controls, or something else?

Share your experiences—I'd love to hear the specific reasons that made you hit the uninstall button instantly.

it is and it isn't the ads for me. While I agree that ads are the bane of a free app's existence, it's more about how they are delivered. An ad between rounds, can be expected but if the rounds are 2 minutes long and the ad is 1 minute it isn't worth it to me. I also hate this new trend where the only way to clear the ad is to go to the Play Store. That will cause me to uninstall an app because it is cheating. They get paid for getting the user to the ad page at the Play Store and for them to force you to go to the PS shouldn't count.

I also uninstall games that advertise the same game. If I downloaded a brick and ball game and then that game shows me a brick and ball game, I'll uninstall the first and play the second. Sometimes I hate the new game and get a different one, but I never go back to the game that tried to get rid of me by showing me the same game that it is. If you wanted me to play your game why show me your competition?

I also hate games that make me open apps I already have. Specifically in this case I'm talking about Snapchat. I have the app, I kind of use it, but if you want to show me an ad for it, OK, but don't make me open and then have to try and close the app.

Other times I've deleted a game early was when after the first few stages, of course you have to get them for free, the ads start and it's more ads than play. Oh it's been 5 seconds of the game here's an unskippable 30 second ad. The other one I hate is, would you like to watch this ad to get this free thing, you say no then it plays an ad anyway and you get nothing.

The amount versus how much I play, like @VidJunky said. I've ha lots of games like puzzle games where you can solve the puzzle in say about 30 seconds, but have to go through a minute of ads.

Unskippable ads are sometimes one.

If the game shows one playstyle, but it's different in the actual experience. The advertised could be a mini game that only comes up once in a while. I'm usually out.
