Now that you've all had a day (Some of you had 3 days) to play with your shiny new magnificent toy, its time for at least a preliminary speculative discussion about what new innovation that the 3gen Evo will bring.
Many people complained because the Evo 3D had, well, 3D capabilities. Well, If they had released a device without it and made more of a Evo + kind of device, it wouldn't be true to its name. Fot Sprint and HTC, the EVo has to signify a step forward in mobile technology. Last Year, The Evo 4G introduced the first 4G phone to the US. This year, its the first 3D phone. No doubt that HTC is already in the planning stages (if not already coding) for its next generation Evo for 2012, So here are my thoughts.
* Just like with the success of the Evo 4G, if the Evo 3D is as successful, expect many more 3D Android Phones to be released by the Christmas Holiday season, continuing into 2012. If that happens, the next generation EVo will likely retain its 3D capabilities, but hopefully by then, the technology will have improved a bit.
* We can pretty much expect the 3gen Evo to run a skinned Sense version (though it may not be as heavy) of Ice Cream Sammich. That is, if everything is released on schedule.
* Hoping for a Quad Core processor and at least 2 Gigs of RAM.
* By this time, NFC tech should be built in,
* Thinking really hard about what new tech will be put in the Evo 3D. Satellite Tech, with the ability of making Satellite phone calls? Satellite radio? some kind of new sensor technology? I'm drawing blanks here. What do you all think?
