What, no removable battery on the Note 8?

I find spare batteries inconvenient, I never remember to carry it with me, need to go to another room to grab it, and deal with removing the phone case. Much easier to just set my phone on a wireless charging pad, or when in a hurry a fast charger. My phone isn't glued to my hands, very simple to keep it charged during the day.

But to each their own.
I used to carry one in my handbag. Of course you have to remember to Charge the battery. Now I carry an external battery pack so I can charge on the go if I need to. They were great but things move on.

Note 4. I got a new Note last year and it runs just fine. There are tons of NIB, cheap Note 4 models.

It's time for me to move past the Samsung idea. LG V20, here I come. Maybe V30.

The V20 is pretty good but I would wait to see what the V30 offers. There is a lot of hype about it. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Any info about Note 8 battery charging technology? is it QC 2.0 or 3.0?

You can remove the battery any time you want to. Of course, you will void the warranty.

Also, it's not that easy. There's a video on You Tube on how to change the battery. The guy looked like he was having a hard time getting that back glass off.

Maybe the OP can find an old bag phone. That had a removable battery.

Thank the gods it doesn't have that terrible feature. Also, this has been beaten to death. But seriously, thank goodness they didn't regress. The Note 8 is awesome as it is, doesn't need any 5 year old crappy features to bring it down.
