Hi,
I have a LG G2 D802, rooted, I took the lollipop ota and was stuck in cwm recovery,
I was able to fix it but now its just a very basic os and really cant do anything including downloading any apps or attaching my google account to my phone, I think my next step is to flash a rom but after all of the above happened Im apprehensive about it, so is that what the next step should be or am I missing something. Thanks

Probably your best bet is to flash a custom stock ROM. That should get you up and running again. If successful, reboot into recovery and create a Nandroid backup.

This is what I'd do:

1. Restore stock LG D802 firmware using lg flash tool. There's a detailed XDA guide and YouTube video.

2. Root using ioroot or towelroot.

3. Get TWRP custom recovery (better than CWM) using freegee app on play store.

4. Make a nandroid backup in TWRP just in case something goes wrong when flashing custom ROM.

5. Pick a D802 custom ROM. I suggest SkimKat, Carbon or PAC- Man.

6. Download custom ROM file + appropriate Gapps (need this for play store) on computer and add files to phone.

7. Install custom ROM and Gapps from TWRP.
