What order do the updates go in??

I am new to the forums here and a little confused, I see people talking about the updates. When I check my phone under "about phone>build number>eclair.dg17"
Is this the latest update or am I behind?? The sprint store said I was up-to-date.

Current build is DI18. Most cell phone sales people know nothing. These updates have been pushed out over the past 2 weeks or so. I am sorry I do not know if they are still rolling them out.

I get an error message when updating "error (7)" cannot update"
I haven't deleted anything and I read the whole thread on the update, anyone have any other ideas?
