What other phones do you carry in addition to your now 10

I've no other reason than I like to have a quality backup phone, a minor ocd issue probably :-)
When both my 8 and 9 are sold I think I'll buy a brand new top Xiaomi or a lightly used/refurbished Huawei as a spare and fun

I'm curious as to why people carry 2 phones. I understand a work phone and personal phone, but do any of you carry 2 personal phones? And that's not even going into separate carriers.

I carry 2 personal phones. I prefer them both to be Galaxy Notes. I'm an S Pen addict. My job requires me to always be available and the networks sometimes misbehave where I live. Work phones not provided. Thank God since they wouldn't be a Galaxy Note.

iPhone 11 Pro Max and Note 10 Plus .. iPhone has work and personal ... Note personal....

iPhone X, which I use at weekends and when I want to use an iOS device for some reason...

Reception is great in both. I live in Brazil, TIM 4G network.

And how's the reception? I like my now 10 but to be honest I'm tired of the terrible reception. I know it isn't carrier related because my son has an LG and he gets service where I don't and we are on the same plan. My husband's note 9 is also better.. Not much but better. I'm looking for a back up phone with good reception that I can take on trips.

Have you tried resetting the network settings? I had to do this twice on my S10+ (then I upgraded to Note 10+) after I had traveled to the other side of the state. I would place a call and I could hear them but they couldn't hear me, as soon as I did the reset, everything worked perfectly. I'm on T-Mobile as well in the Seattle area.

Why don't you buy the same LG phone your son is using?

I recently bought this Samsung J3 Orbit Tracfone from Target for only $49 (price just went up to $69 now), I use it as my burner phone. I'm pretty sure nobody can beat me for cheapest quality 2nd phone, haha.

Okay, actually, not so true...I also have an old Samsung Note 4 that I keep in the drawer due to a bad battery. I'm currently waiting for a new replacement battery from Amazon.

I have an iPhone 10 because of work, and HATE it! No back button and attaching a pdf is a royal pain. It crashes and drops calls ALL the time...could be AT&T on that front though. My main daily driver is the Note 10+...unlike some folks I use the stylus constantly, and I LOVE Bixby! Once you figure out that it operates the hardware and macros it is hard to use another phone imo.

S10 Plus 512 GB Ceramic Black and iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 GB Space Grey

Using the 11 pro Max as my main device though !

For those with more than one phone on here....do you maintain/pay for a separate line for each one of them or you just swap sims?

I have 2 lines. But if I am goin to use a phone heavily, my main sim is going in it.

Lots of folks here also have personal and work phones.

Honestly, having 2 phones is pain in the behind. Going back and forth is not fun. Sure, if your work demands it, you can have one phone for work.

Even though I still have an additional line, I mainly just have one phone when I am out.

iPhone 11 Pro Max for work and Note 10+ for personal. Need both platforms for work support both on AT&T with no reception issues. I also have a Pixel 4 that I've been using instead of my N10 since it's release but I'll be switching back this weekend.

I have both lines active .. I'm back on Verizon for both .. I switch regularly too .. lol just like my phones ...

I am the third . I just traded in for the OnePlus 7t. Note 10 plus is my daily driver but I usually switch over to my OnePlus for the weekends.
I'll probably be switching to Pixel 4 XL and Note 10+ instead going forward. So pixel and note lineups.
