What phone are you coming from?

Those who intend to pick up a Nexus 5, what phone are you coming from?

I have a Galaxy S3 that has a cracked screen that still works and will be getting the Nexus 5 when it comes out.

I will be coming from an HTC One that I have RUU flashed to be a Google Play Edition. I'm enjoying stock Android, even though I do really like Sense 5. I think stock Android will be even better on a device that was built for it from the beginning.

Coming from the VZ Galaxy Nexus, on the small chance that the Nexus 5 comes to Verizon. Otherwise I'll be getting a custom Moto X.

Enjoy your Moto X. I hear it is a great phone. I'd like to get one but they want too much off contract compared to what the N5 will likely cost if it follows the N4 model.

I love ? love ? the One, but I'm right with ya. Excited to get back to unlocked and rooted, full-control pure Android for daily use.

You could always RUU flash to GPE software to get you by till then.

For me it will be an upgrade. I read the 32gb model will have a better battery than the (16?)GB one. I also think I read they'll both have sdcard slots but not certain if I remember what I read right.

Alternately, I'm interested in the Moto X, and the Xiaomi MI2s.

The Nexus 5 will not have an SD card slot. I'll eat this post if it does. Also, while certainly possible, I'm extremely skeptical of those saying the 32GB version will have a larger battery than the 16 GB. I'd love it to be true cause I'll be getting the 32 either way, but I seriously doubt it.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Jumping to T-Mobile while at it. Screw you VZW!!

I definitely could, but part of the reason I chose the One was because I don't find many faults with Sense and enjoy the experience. I find that it 'suits' the One just as well as AOSP Android does. As is, the phone does just about everything that I need it to, so I'm happy. I just can't resist a new Nexus device. :p

Plus it's about time I get back into the ROM scene...

That was what I read, from a supposed leaked source, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. There was a lot of argument over it in the comments section of that article.

Sold my GS3 in anticipation of the N5. Thought I could hang w/just my Lumia 920 while waiting. Wrong. Got an N4 to "tie me over." :-) Will likely sell both of those.

HTC One here! Love it but I wanna hop on the Nexus band wagon my self! HTC One will make a great backup phone though! and music player for my office.

Rocking the Galaxy Nexus. I'm definitely looking forward to the Nexus 5. Saving money for it. For me, saving money is a never ending process. Once I get the next Nexus, I'll be keeping a close look at that rumored Motorola phablet.

Nexus 4 will be replaced by 5, not sure what to do with 4, keep it as a spare or sell it?

I have had a galaxy s3 since the day it came out. I have been very unimpressed with touchwiz and the SLOW updates. I can't wait to get my hands on the NEXUS 5 :)!

I'd like to replace my Nexus 4 as long as my three main issues with the N4 are resolved, namely: 1) better signal reception; 2) better screen readability outdoors; 3) better battery life.

The N5 has a larger battery so that should take care of number three but I wont know about 1&2 until trying it out I guess.

Currently on a Droid 4 on Verizon. Looking towards switching to a Nexus 5 on Straight Talk via AT&T SIM since they started offering those again.
