What phone are you coming from?

Those who intend to pick up a Nexus 5, what phone are you coming from?

Coming from the Galaxy Nexus. Tried the iPhone 5s for a few weeks but sent it back to wait for the Nexus 5. Couldn't deal with iOS on a long term basis.

Coming from the Galaxy Nexus. Based on the poll results thus far, seems there's going to be quite a few of us!

I had the Samsung Nexus and three of them had bad signal and data connection. VZW swapped me to the Razar MAXX, nice phone. It's a toss up between Moto X and Nexus 5 and Note 3. I will wait and see how the reviews go on the Nexus 5 before jumping in. I will probable get to leave VZW to T-Moble. If it comes to VZW then I can keep my unlimited data plan.

Galaxy s4 & I am still debating if I should get the Nexus 5

Interesting to see the majority are N4 uses - the ones who love to upgrade yearly.
Personally, as much as the N5 looks are growing on me I cannot justify purchasing it, maybe next year as i like to get phones every 2nd year :D

Probably not. Currently have Nexus 4 and have never been so happy with a phone. Heck, who am I kidding, sure I will

GS3. I got it after using the NS for a little over a year. Wasn't too thrilled with the GNex announcement so I waited for the next Nexus (N4). My patience was running out, then the GS3 came, got my attention. The GS3 is an exceptional device. But it doesn't support LTE. Time for an upgrade. I want to go back to the Nexus line where OS updates are more timely and with tons of support for modding/custom ROMs. Can't wait to get my hands on the N5.

I'm currently using my Nexus 4 with StraightTalk. Do we know yet if the Nexus 5's LTE will work with StraightTalk's LTE service?

IF...IF...IF....I'm still holding hope....that the N5 with work on Verizon....If so i will leave my Droid DNA for Nexus Line. I mean you think about it. Google did manage to get all bands of lte in the New N7.......So why not the N5...Sure if you are out of lte area you will be out of service, but that can be considered a trade off. But if it wont work on Verizon i will go with the G2 off contract. Then once my contract is over(mid next year) i may jump off the verizon bandwagon an go to t-mobile.

Coming from Nexus 4. I really hope they have the camera sorted on the N5. The jittery focus issues of the N4 were maddening to me, a photographer. I was glad to flee Trudge's dial-up speeds, but my GS2 had a swell camera and was a nice bit of kit overall.
