I just got my S4 a couple of weeks ago and have really been fighting to get it to sync to my computer and download my music and videos. I downloaded Kies to try it and it has not been working very good. I have had all kinds of problems with it making multiple copies of my songs and videos to taking hours to sync. I have had to go back through my music and movies and delete the extra copies it put there. When I do try to sync the phone it will get to 100% on the music and stay there for 30 minutes or so before advancing and it gets stuck like that several times before finishing. So what program is everybody using to sync their S4 with. That seems to me the biggest problem so far with switching from the Iphone to this S4, otherwise I love the phone.

You dont need any programs to sync your music, photos and videos! You can just drag and drop them directly on the phone like a usb key. The magic of Android ;) And like that you'll never have to worry about multiple copies of songs! Hope I've helped!

You only need to install Kies so that you get the correct drivers so Windows will recognize your phone. Easiest thing to do is connect your phone with USB, windows should recognize your phone, Kies will launch automatically, when it does just close it. Then open Windows file explorer, navigate / browse to your phone in the file directory tree, once there you can just drag and drop files to transfer. If you are using an external sd card in your phone and don't already have folders for media, you can set them up at this point ( pictures folder, video folder, music folder, etc)

I have about 2,500 songs on itunes, I used Easy Phone Sync to sync my entire library and adding new songs one by one using USB connection. Tried Kies too but it syncs new files on top of old ones creating pile of duplicates. Make a shortcut on your desktop for your phone's music folder for easy access, mine's at Computer\samsung-sgh-i337\card\music

Airdroid app will allow you to transfer files via wifi to your smartphone. Excellent app.

If you are talking iTunes....isyncr or doubletwist for wifi (or even usb if you have to). I used doubletwist for the longest time and just switched to isyncr (simpler imho). Both cost a few bucks.

I know I can drag and drop, just was looking for something that would be simpler. I am use to using ITunes and it was just so easy to click on this movie or unclick another and one would be taken off and another downloaded. I guess I am going to have to adjust to a new way of thinking and doing things.

Thanks for the isyncr info I will have to check it out.

isyncr syncs with iTunes. It syncs all music and play list's. I'm really happy with it.
