Been using my previous phone, a LG G4 and hate it with a passion. I was never really afraid my Note 7 would catch fire, but I'm genuinely concerned that this G4 will. I had two previous G4s that did. And I personally know other people who had G4's catch fire.

I was all set until I compare hd video on s7e with v20 right next to it. My eyesight isn't good so I didn't think I would notice the difference. Wow. Was I wrong. I watch Netflix on my phone and sadly the v20 is like low def compared to amoled. Weird soft effect like missing pixels. I was shocked I could see it. I love every feature the v20 has that s7e lacks but the screen... Ugh

I've been switching back and forth between the Pixel XL and Note 5... I really miss the Note 7. The Pixel is OK, it covers the basics of a smart phone, but I feel lost without the S-pen and Samsung Pay. As far as a daily driver the only noticeable difference between the two (other than the difference between pure Android and Samsung/TouchWiz) is the Pixel battery life is better- overall performance between the two isn't really noticeable to me. I think the Note 5 feels better in my hand, as did the 7... I've been thinking about trying out the S3 Gear to replace the new toy void left by the Note 7 and just keeping my 5.

I've had my V20 for about a month now and loving it.

Does that mean I won't be interested in the S8 or next Note whatever they call it next year......... nope I can't wait to see what Samsung will have to offer and switch back if I'm really intrigued?!!?

There are other phones out there lol but I do have to agree on the Samsung part, not so much on the ibone part.

Loved the note 5, but there are none available at my tmobile store so after some ping-pong back and forth with v20 and s7 edge, it is the s7 edge. And the Samsung Gear S2 classic.

If I was impatient and wanting an Android to play/use now... the OnePlus 3T sounds like the best bang for the buck phone right now. Just a few more months before S8 news comes out so I'm trying to wait it out.
