what rom to flash?

Im interested in flashing a better rom to my wifes ally. Are there some good stable roms out there? Relatively new to rooting, just rooted my Droid OG yesterday after having it for almost a year lol. She isnt really a power user, and hates change, so most of what I want for her is a rom that I can setup, which will give her better performance and be simpler to use.

If you want a good custom ROM and already have 2.2.1 (Froyo) rooted then Velocity V1.0 by Trident is probably the best Ally ROM of all time. [ROM] Velocity V1.0 | LG Ally | Android 2.2.1 Froyo | Super Fast | Stable - Android Forums
Don't try to flash this over 2.1 (Eclair) it won't work.
