I have an S8 on T-mobile only because of the additional $130 down payment required on the S8+.
I was about to say...good luck with that.

With S7 and S7 Edge there were enough differences to warrant an upgrade to the Edge model from the S7.
With S8, there are only two:
- Screen size
- Slightly bigger battery
So, I chose S8 based on the screen size. It's the perfect big screen that you can still operate in one hand and reach the FPS without any difficulties!

That down payment was a big one for me too. But after trying it out in store and comparing, I went with it. I may try to hold off on the Note 8ateast a little time but... Lol who knows

Don't second guess yourself based on other people's choices. If everyone around you was drinking kool aid, would you do it? If you where at a spot where everyone was jumping off a cliff, would you?
Very recently you mentioned that you wanted to go from the honor 8 to the honor 9 because the screen is 0.1" smaller (it is actually 0.05" but that doesn't really make a difference in the argument). So clearly you like using small phones. There's nothing wrong with this. Stay true to yourself instead of trying to fit in. You did this when you went with the Honor 8, which, if you polled everyone on Android Central, would find that only a very small minority uses it. Yet you loved emui.
Keep working on finding best solutions for yourself, not what the popular thing is. Life is short, you don't need to impress anyone.
