What Screen Protectors Are You Ordering?

Do they replace like Zagg does? I just worry cause I want it to be on perfect and like last year a tiny dust spec got on mine and Best Buy and he was going to get a brand new one and put it on for me but it wasn't that bad and I said no I'll wait till the protector gets messed up and come back. I just like how they put it on every time and give you a new one.
I believe their warranty replacement kit is $10. You just have to send them a picture of your damaged/non-installed screen protector.

I've never had an issue with scratched screens on any of my phones ever, but the oleophobic coatings do wear off after a few months from normal use, so will be looking to use a screen protector this time around, especially since it has a flat screen finally. Just curious on how another layer of glass will affect touch responsiveness and if it would damp the user experience.

Think it's just a peace of mind thing for a lot of us. I personally can't really tell a difference in use with a good glass protector. Even some of the high quality plastic ones come very close to the glass feel of the screen.

I'm not worried so much about scratches as I am cracking the screen.

But I don't really see how a glass layer on top of another gives much protection to a crack that's caused by blunt force exerted from a drop?

I like the new Zagg protector and all of the tech that's supposedly behind it including the drop protection. Expensive AF but I would consider it a worthwhile investment if it lived up to their claims.

It gives a chance for the force that's being applied to be dissipated. It's one of the reasons that windscreens, bullet proof vests and spacecraft hulls are laminated. Sure, some impacts have enough force to just smash right through, but if a soldiers vest and helmet will "only " stop a 7.62 rifle round and not a .50 LMG, that doesn't mean the vest and helmet are worthless.

Actually, I use a tempered glass screen protector for the exact opposite reason that you mention. You see the newer GG Victus (or whatever it's called) is softer, more flexible, thereby making it more shatter resistant. However, this also makes it easier to scratch! I've had GG 5 phones that were used and abused and scratch free for years...but one wrong drop and they would shatter because they were harder, more brittle, less flexible. Therefore the reason for a protector for "ME" is to protect from scratches, not breaks. YMMV

Just started using privacy screen protectors for my devices and I rather enjoy them, so I went with the imbzbk 3 pack for the 24U. Amazon has them on sale at 9.99, and I've used this brand for a couple years now. As others mentioned, I'm looking forward to no glue application.

How much do they dim the screen?

Which Zagg I saw 3 on their website. We can get them free using credit card points through paypal. Theirs is a new glass elite and the fusion I think is what we have now. I saw something Fusion XTR3 not sure what that was but it looked like it had colors on it I want clear. But yeah like I said I like that Best Buy puts then on and you get replacements free.

I will agree that the $$$$$$$$$ Whitestone protectors were a necessary evil for curved screens! They worked well! However, with a FLAT screen I personally feel that they are NOT needed. Assuming your case of choice doesn't cause the protector to lift, a much cheaper standard tempered glass screen protector will do the job just fine as they did for several years before curved screens! YMMV
Agreed

Is it common for Zagg not to offer new model screen protectors on Amazon? They have noting up for any of the S24's but do on their site.

Something like that re: specific Zagg protector. I think it's like $55 or something. Especially if I'm dropping that kind of dough on a screen protector I definitely don't want to risk effing it up with dust particles underneath.

My step son works at BB and I just got the ZAGG xtr3 worth $60 for $21 thanks to his employee discount!
Really wow! So what is the difference in the XTR3 over the fusion and Glass can you post a picture is it colored at the bottom? It just looked like in the picture it had colors on it. I think on Zagg you can compare.

Honestly I really bought it because of the discount I got, I always buy cheaper ones on Amazon. From what I understand it filters blue light and it's 10x stronger. It won't shatter easily like others do. We'll see. Now I'm debating what case to get. I like slim so thinking about the Benks
