What should I do about my HTC One?

I got the purple malfunction on my HTC One. It under warranty. So I called at t and they have the program where they don't leave you without a phone and they will send you a replacement. So far they sent two replacement s and they both had a malfunction. One even came out of the box with the purple malfunction on the camera. Will they ever send me a proper working HTC one without the purple malfunction? What do I do? Just keep on waiting tell they send me a proper phone?

Personally I'd go thru htc if your having the same issues. I spoke to them about about my faulty speaker and they were very easy to deal with.

Yeah but if you go through HTC your left without a phone. I need a phone. Lol. Do all HTC ones get the purple malfunction?I k ow people say yeah and no but from what I know. It seems they do. Because of the two replacements at t sent me..

After spending the day with my family at a aquarium and not being able to take one decent picture, I think that I've procrastinated long enough to send it in. Getting on the phone right now with HTC.

I went through 4-5 replacements from tmobile to get a phone rant didn't have purple camera.

Where do att get there replacement phones from? If I were to contact HTC I wouldn't go through multiple replacements like I'm doing now with att?

When you go thru Htc they FIX your phone rather than just replace it. Then the issue is solved. Might take a week to 10 days but worth it if you're left with a good working phone

You may still. Chances are they'll factory reset your phone but really i cant speak for them on that part.

While I do take pics with my phone, for "important" stuff I'll bring a digital camera.

I wonder if they have a bad lot of camera modules or is this a software issue. I've had an HTC One since release week and haven't had an issue. But I did ROM it pretty quick, and after trying a few, I have stuck with Viper.

Can you please post a pic or two for evaluation ???

I shipped mine yesterday, the first thing I was told was that the phone will be factory reset. I used Helium to back up all my apps and data. No root required.

I didn't see your post before, sorry for not replying sooner.

I usually use a digital camera as well for important stuff, but this was an out of the blue let's go see the fishies kind of thing.

my htc one is on it way back from repair for the sixth time since november had a blown speaker repaired 3 thime then the reconditioned handset they sent had purple camera problem its just been a nightmare

Got my phone back about a week ago, couldn't get my hands on it till today. They've sent me a different phone. Looks brand new, so I'm assuming it's a refurbished unit. The camera is working great.

Not sure what's going to happen when I restore the backup that I made with Helium. The HTC backup restore worked very well, got all my apps back (even Flappy Birds )...

So I guess I had to wait 12 days for what Apple costumers get when they walk into the store with a warranty problem.
