what should i do if water gets into the note 5

I'm afraid that water may have gotten inside the note 5 and now it will not operate by touch i have to use the s pen to operate

Welcome to the forums! Did you drop it in water? If you did you might just have to take it in for repair.

Evidently the digitizer (or its connection to the phone) is bad. The pen accesses a different layer on the screen.

See Oh, no! My Phone got Wet! to start. And you'll probably need at least a new digitizer.

They can't do any of that, it is a Note 5.
