What specs could have made the Note 3 better?

Let me start first. The battery life could have gotten a bigger bump than 100mah compared to the Note 2. The battery on the Note 3 could have been at least a 3300-3500mah. Im disappointed that the note 3 is only 3200mah. Other than that, im satisfied.

The battery is not a problem for me. If anything the only thing is the way the stylus sits in the slot. I like the way it blends with the body on the N2. It doesn't sit that way Inn the N3

64GB only storage device, 4GB RAM, bigger battery and a swift KICK IN THE BALLS to TIM COOK!

Similar sentiment here. The S-Pen on the Note 2 looks more refined to me the way it blends into the edge instead of how it sticks out a bit now on the Note 3. The only other thing I wish they did was a soft touch coated back instead of the faux stitched leather.

RGB. Though I understand why they went with pentile.

i was hoping for 6" screen....i know, i know, i'm crazy.....hard to say on the camera since we haven't used it yet, but i'm always a fan of great optical zoom and barring that high mega pixels for tighter cropping so a higher mega pixel camera & better low light pics. however the pics with my note 2 have always been pretty good......i'm sure the note 3 will be even better....

This thread should be renamed to "Why I'm upgrading from 3 to 4 less then a year from now." :D

I was really hoping for something like we saw at CES with a flexible display on the side for notifications. I really don't think there is much more we can really use on the hardware side.

I would of loved to see ubuntu as a dual os option for extra functionality. Really want this to work with a doc so I can use it to replace some of my desktop stuff.

Gotta say, I am envious of the fingerprint home button on the iPhone 5S.

That would have been cool on the Note 3.

As someone already mentioned, would be nice if it was released earlier to help take
a bite out of the Apple.

Also, if Kit-Kat is rumored for October release, the Note III should have come with
it preinstalled. God knows how long it will take individual carriers to push that update.

If Kit-Kat is released in October that is when OEMs can start working on it.

Why Android Updates Are So Slow

Where do I start.

A Haswell i7 with 32GB of ram, running a 256GB SSD, with a NVIDIA GTX Titan. Oh, and I don't want to pay over $300 for it.

/sarcasm

It'll be a while for an update. I have the N1 and N2 but im jumping ship and getting the Nexus 5. Updated first plus i'm Sick of the, imo gimmicky functions i never use and slow the function of all these bells and whistles phones. I want pure android.

The one specification that puts me off are the dimensions. They are slightly different to my Note 1 which means the ?100 I invested in both oem car and desk docks is wasted.

I think if 64GB had been the base storage with 4GB of RAM and a slightly larger battery. I also think if at least the silver bezel could have been actual aluminum (think BB 9900) that'd have been nice too.

from my Sony Xperia Tablet Z or XTZ or "Ecstasy"

I do wish Samsung would find a way to improve the speakers on their Galaxy line, but not sure what direction the GS5 and GN4 will go in next year.
