What texting app do you use?

I've been using Verizon Messages for months. I hated the photo size limitations on the stock and Google Apps.

What would I gain using Textra? I like the looks of the stock SMS and it has lockscreen notifications which I also like so I'm wondering what Textra adds to this.

I answered my own question by downloading Textra and trying it. There's certainly nothing special about it. I've used Hangouts, Textra and stock SMS and there's no reason for me not to use the stock SMS.

My SwiftKey keyboard stopped lagging when I start using textra. It seems that touch wiz is really heavy. If there was a phone app that I can use I would too.

I would be using that if it wasn't for the fact that MMS totally does not work.

Been using Google messenger since day 1. No problems at all.

You're one of the lucky ones. MMS never worked for me at all. Error messages up the wazoo. Even after uninstall/reinstall. If you look at reviews over at the GP store, I'm not the only one having issues. I can send MMS but receiving MMS is a no go. Settings are all correct.

Maybe I'll give it another go since I last uninstalled it quite a while ago and perhaps Google fixed this in an update.

Been using Google messenger since day 1. No problems at all.

I use gosms. I used texted for a little, but still ended up back with gosms.

I tried GO and liked it but could not deal with the weird emojis.

I actually use the Google messenger app. Not Hangouts, but the actually Google messenger app. I don't need to much customization or fancy features, and it does the job for me, and I like it better than the stock app.

Me to clean simple..It was Textra but i find it can slow down!..Only thing i found their stickers take a while to send MMS
