I'm just using stock messaging on AT&T at the moment. I do own Textra and have used it for the past year or so. I'm just digging the native integration with my Gear S3.
sounds like you need to adjust some settings. I never have trouble getting pictures.I use Textra but sometimes I don't get pictures and have to go into the native app.
I have an iPad and that app don't work on my wifi only tablet.Verizon Messages plus is my favorite. Very customizable, will work through wifi and can be installed on a wifi only tablet.
SameFor those using the stock messenger app, are you putting a signature in? I can't find where to add a signature.
I just had to go from the default messenger that came with my T-Mobile Note 8 to Textra. It was the only way that I could get Live Message to work. I was getting errors that the message attachment was to big. Textra worked like a charm.
One thing I like about Textra is the option to have the iOS style emojis so I know exactly what my friends with iPhones are sending. Some emojis are quite different. Are there any other messaging apps out there that also use the iOS emojis? I never other had a real issue with Textra except one time it did not show an animated gif properly and I had to go to stock app to see.
I'm looking for a great texting app that offers a lot like Textra but let's got add a signature line.I used Textra for a few years, until they got rid of the option to display square contact photos. Switched to Chomp SMS (same devs) since it allowed the choice between squares and circles (loathe circles!). But for the past year or so Chomp keeps crashing.
Just switched to Yata, which somehow is even more customizable than Textra and Chomp. Yata with SwiftKey customizations makes me happy....

Strange, I've never tried it on an ios device. Works great for all the Android tablets I've had. I didn't even know you could get an ios version.I have an iPad and that app don't work on my wifi only tablet.
