What the heck is sprint doing?

So Friday, I lost all 3G, Texting and for a while, the ability to make phone calls! I have 3-4 bars and as soon as I go to make a call they DISAPPEAR!!! At the time, I called sprint and they informed me there was an outtage, they made me power cycle my phone, I went till sunday mid evening without being able to send receive texts or calls, no internet what so ever. Well, Safe to say when I got it all back I was super releived.

My phone restarted earlier (which it does 3/10 times after activating my hotspot) and ONCE AGAIN (just like last time...) I have lost the ability to make calls, receive calls, send texts and receive them as well as wireless internet. THis doesn't always happen, it has restarted 4 times since I have lost and regained my 3G / Call issues were resolved and it didn't freak out then.

Both times, have been the result of my tethering restarting my phone. Is it time to leave Drew's CM7?

I don't know if it is your phone, I've had some weird, slow network congestion out here around NYC and Rockland County NY today. Had bars, but the internet speed was far slower than normal.

Maybe they are stress testing for the upcoming iPhone?

I've already posted on facebook basically protesting that crappy phone coming on this great network, up until this weekend it has been above par! It isn't my phone if you look on the network section of the sprint phones its all over the country in the last 24 hours =\ even in Tampa/Clearwater area in FLorida. THis is rediculous, they offered to credi tmy accout for the outtage and if this one lasts for 2-3days they will be doing it again..

Hell, I even asked them if they could give me a new phone to make sure it WASNT my phone, I asked them if they would just swap me one of their free promotional new contract phones and they said no because LG was fixing the ZVH issue (by downgrading? LOL WTF)

I'm in NC and i'm getting 1.28Mb on the phone and when i wifi tether i am getting 1.33Mb down. I am on Drews CM7 also.

The Speedtest on wifi tethering connected through Tallahassee. When i select Greensboro, NC my ping goes up but i am still seeing 1.2Mb/s. also when i disable my hotspot it doesn't ever restart the phone.

I would do a complete wipe of everything and reflash to test before ditching the ROM.
