What the HTC One has that the G2 does not

Aluminum Body. I no longer use a (plastic) case because the quality is just too amazing to cover up.

Okay, so I went into a V-store and took pics with the ONE then sent them to my PC and compared them with the same shots from my DNA using the same settings. Wow, DNA is much better at details and a crisp picture shot inside.I was disappointed in the ONE.
I found some online of the G2 vs ONE and the G2 won that easily. oh well.

Speakers on the ONE are great! No way the G2 will touch these.
I found conflicting reports on the G2 audio. Some say it has dual speakers, some say the grilles house a speaker in one and mic in the other.
anyone know? anyone heard them?

VZW G2 has wireless charging, stereo speakers at the bottom, head phone jack on button and pure awesomeness

Hey moosc,

Thanks. I can't find where the speakers on the G2 are stereo or even dual. I saw a report where one grill was a speaker and the other a microphone. Can you point me to your source please.

High fidelity audio, audio zooming
For you audiophiles out there, LG has greatly improved the quality of the audio output on the G2. CDs and standard MP3s generally offer 16-bit audio. The G2 will offer 24-bit 192kHz audio through speakers found on the bottom edge of the device. http://m.pocketnow.com/2013/08/07/lg-g2-features

HTC One has a rear cover that isn't a cheap plastic greasy, slimy, fingerprint magnet ala the Samsung S4 rear cover.
Also the HTC One has a UI that isn't a blatant ripoff of the Samsung S4's overwrought, cartoony Touchwiz UI.
