What things did you do when you first bought your phone? S4 newbie here, just wanted to know anything that you did... e.g. changes, settings configuration, apps installed...

I would first configure my settings and then install apps.

I started by setting up my contacts, configuring settings, etc. Then I installed Nova Launcher. TouchWiz didn't seem too bad to me...I'm not sure why it gets so much hate, but I just love the customization allowed with different launchers. Then installed widgets, etc to get my homescreens how I liked.

Oh, and I had to play around with all the features of the S4 (air view, smart scroll, etc.).

Installed Nova launcher, not a big fan of touchwiz and its too spaced out icons and that big empty space in the middle of the display.
The home icons. I see the point by why is it so big? Nova launcher's is smaller and more discrete.
