So Im really thinking about Flashing to this Liberty Rom and this will be my first flash. So what do I need to know about what to expect after Flashing? Besides the Awesomeness. What I want to know is what is the next step/steps after Flashing?

I just did a Nandroid using Clockwork. I have all my apps backed up using Titanium. So also what else should I do in preparation?

There are many things you can do after you flash. Biggest thing is to enjoy the rom. I'm running liberty and it is a good rom. As long as you made your backup you should good to go. Just make sure you to a data wipe prior to flashing.

That can all be done using clockwork right? I dont have to go into the normal recovery? Also I was reading about wiping the battery stats and dalvik. Am I right that all of this is done using Koush Bootstrap including the Rom install?

Dude after Liberty settled I just slowly set myself up and have been GOLDEN ever since!

Ok, but everything is done from Bootstrap correct? Im doing this tomorrow and i really dont want a brick.

Yes, be rooted correctly and have bootstrap installed vie (whatever apk you use) and have ROM manager installed and running. Then flash bootstrap, then boot into recovery and install update (rename ROM update) and allow install...you better have a stock nandroid before this, so you can be safe. I recommend having sbf files on hand and drivers, add RSD....then there are jack ye haws that say z4root it who cares.....get your crap together and trust Knowles under the bridge......(if that is your thing) But I say inform yourself, no body will take responsibility for your bricked phone

I did use Bootstrap to create a backup of Stock. Just got Rom Manager. I have the drivers, not sure if I have the Sbf and Rsd for .340. Know where I can get them?

ROM Manager is totally unnecessary, if you ask me.

I was looking through Rom Manager and if Im reading correctly cant I install Liberty from Rom Manager instead of Bootstrap?

Also reading the install instructions for Liberty it only mentions wiping the data/cache but nothing about battery stats and delvik. Reading through the forums on here(Android Central) people are talking about wiping the battery stats and I think one person mentioned wiping the delvik. Are wiping those just being cautious and not really necessary?

I guess I might as well ask...how do I flash back to stock when idk lets say Gingerbread gets released?

Bootstrap Is essential....load it on the root of SD card and use astro to install it.....droid X needs BS.....

Not totally. If you have a few backups on your card, it's really nice to be able to label them and manage them so you know what's what. On other phones, like the Droid, ROM manager is great.

Already have it installed. Going to bed now and when I wake up I will be Flashing to Liberty

The whole process is very simple. Put the Liberty file on the root of your SD. Bootstrap recovery. Reboot recovery. Factory reset/data wipe. Install file from SD card. Select the liberty.zip and let it run.

I havent taken the leap yet because i do use some blur like the alarm clock and both docks as well as the Android Power Control Widget. What needs to be done to get those back after flashing?
