What two phones would you get instead of dropping $14-1600 on the Ultra?

I splurged on the 515g Ultra, finally (and prematurely) calling updating from my N9. After trying to justify the purchase by telling myself the software will eventually match the specs, I realized that the reason I bought the phone was because I honestly liked the Note and S series as a whole, but liked certain parts of other phones (refresh rate, battery life, camera, etc). So I was wondering, what two phones would you combine that would be better than the S20 Ultra overall?

Personally, if I had to spend that much money again, I would have bought the Asus ROG 2 ($899) for the specs, and a pixel 4 ($549) strictly for the software and camera.

You can find nice deals on the Note 10+. That's a good pair with the Pixel 4. The Note 10+ is still a better camera than the ROG2 and the SPen is a nice tool to have.

For me personally I'll be using the Pixel 4 and iPhone 11Pro. I'll be keeping the Ultra around to play around with and once in awhile swap it with the Pixel 4 as I do like using DeX and other Samsung features.

I carry iPhone 11 Pro Max with either Note 10 + or Pixel 4 XL ..so used to carry two phones for years ...I recommend it if you have slim cases though

I wouldn't buy two phones, I would buy a Note 10 plus in a private sale and then also buy a brand new laptop

The pixel 4 xl. On sale at Best buy right now for 599. For the price of the ultra I could get that and keep my note 10 plus for the same amount.

There you go ..I picked up the 4 XL for $500 before taxes and my Note + I'm in the positive with it ...I think $550 I paid before taxes ...I didn't want to trade in on Ultra and still owe $700 plus taxes ...

For sure no doubt the OnePlus 7T Pro or the Note 10+ (I have). But I would definitely lean towards the OnePlus. It's for sure the best overall Android phone other than S20 Ultra which I have as well..IMO


The 7T Pro screen is no hole lunch


P.S. the pixel is OK too, but I don't know about those bezels

Hmmm, why would you want to carry 2 phones and complicate your life if you can get one monster of a phone? that makes no sense to me lol.

I can't even justify $1k for the S20, looked at it today, love the size and it's a beautiful device but the the 7T is half the price right now. S20 doesn't feel like it's twice the phone.

I know the question is what 2 phones but with this kind of money you can get a very good dslr or mirrorless camera
