What type of Recovery i have?

how can i know what type of recovery i have? custom recovery, clockwork recovery or RA recovery.. when i go to recovery i get a phone and under the HTC letters... if i want to flash clockwork recovery whats the safeties: way..:-\

I should tell you when you boot into recovery. Boot into hboot, then choose recovery.

When recovery boots you should see what recovery you have. I use RA and at the bottom of my recovery screen it tells me what kind of recovery(RA) and what version I'm running. My screen doesn't have a phone symbol, just "HTC".

As to the easiest way of flashing a new recovery image, download RomManager from the market. I think you need to have the paid version, but it lets you flash clockwork or RA.
