hello all,
I am currently visiting chicago, and I saw that the prices of the S6 are much better than in my country.
therefore, I am looking to buy one, but the seller at "best buy" told me it might not work for me.
is there a specific model of the S6 that might work better, and what carriers sells it?
the freqs. I'm using are: UMTS 900/2100 and LTE 1800/2600
thanks!

Not sure which country you are from but if you buy the carrier phones here, you will have crap carrier firmware, Verizon and AT&T have ugly looking logos. Software updates will be always last for useless US carriers. S6 models has most bands so you should be fine, search for carrier model # in Google and see what bands they use and compare it with the ones you need. But according to me it's not a good idea buying from useless carrier models, instead unbranded non carrier models are better. Just my 2 cents.

I agree... but I really can't find an unbranded one. I know there is an International version (920F) but can't find it...

Also most carrier phones (at least here in the US) are SIM locked and you would have to get them unlocked to work with another carrier.
I've seen several vendors carrying the 920F (international).
Check a vendor (on Ebay) called "Never MSRP" for instance.
