What was the #1 reason you got the V10?

Price, removable battery and memory. When I saw the freebees I jumped quicker👍. Im happy very happy with it so far. Only complaint is it's a little hard form me to hold.

I'm on T-Mobile and have Jump on Demand. I had the LG G4 after i had a TERRIBLE experience with the S6...since I have 3 phones i can upgrade too, figured why not? Enjoying it so far.

Combination of a great camera with manual mode/raw support, removable battery, sd card, freebies, build quality, perfect size, second screen, impressive specs, and the white and gold combo looks sharp.

So really, this phone had the longest list of pros. I also considered the 6P, Moto X Pure, Turbo 2, Note 5.

I came from a Note 4. I would of gone to the next note, but the lack of SD memory and removable battery made me just look at Samsung and say WTF.
Other than that, the features of the phones camera intrigued me. I am not much of a picture taker, but I like to geek out on features.

I chose it because I wanted to try the second screen.

I'd have to say durability. I was set on getting a larger device, but I was concerned about the durability of the Note 5. I loathe cases on my phones, so that's important to me. There were some "must have" features for me.....good camera, finger print scanner, 4k screen. Then there was the "like to have" features......IR blaster, fantastically fast charging, build quality, and I love the rear button placement (ever since my LG G2). But there are some disappointments too....battery life, no wireless charging (yet), useless auto-brightness function, and some bug issues I've had with connectivity.

I had the Note 1 & 3, but Samsung lost me on the Note 5 by eliminating the swap-out battery & SD slot.

What swayed me to buy the V10:
1. the audio quality
2. the free SD card & battery
3. Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the commercial. Sigh...

Getting the V10 today. Wanted to wait to see what the Huawiee Mate 8 was about, but my note 3 is getting worse by the day.

Its all about storage for me. If the note 5 had 128gb like the nexus 6p I'd stay with the note line. I just want a big phone, with storage, and having USB / HDMI out is always nice (damn you Nexus 6p!).

Hope I can learn how to handle all the manual controls for the camera / video.

I came from the Samsung Note series too. Had them all. Note 4 and waiting on Note 5. Never dreamed Samsung would stop listening to their customers!

I was ready for a change but unwilling to give up removable battery and SD. Bought this phone to support LG's decision but now realize what a really great phone it is! Thought it would be a spare and I'd drop insurance. Now I use it daily.

Hope rumors are true would love to see a "pro" version with a built in Pen. That would ROCK! As long as they don't pull a Samsung and remove SD and removable battery I'd buy it NOW!!!

More than 1 but here goes:

  1. Quality of the build.
  2. Camera
  3. SD card slot
  4. Like the size/feel of the phone in my hand
  5. Display quality
  6. Freebies

Very happy with it after about a month.

Video shooting capabilities, audiophile quality sound, SD card, removable battery, ruggedness and good looks!

Because I hated my GS6, I had a Jump and couldn't "Jump" to the Nexus 6P or Moto X Pure. So now I've the V10 along with a Nexus 6.

I want to see how much better the audio quality will be when I get some Bose headphones in a day or two. It sounds ok with ear buds but those cans will sound 100x better
