What was your battery like before and after you let your One's battery go through a few cycles?

First day or two, seemed like I would get about ten hours no matter what. Today I have a 13 hour battery life with 4 hours of on screen time on my Verizon One. That's with beats on, wifi on, location off, sync off. Want to turn everything back on and see how it goes tomorrow. But generally I think the battery has improved over the past week from when I first got it.

I have to agree with Byg. The first few days it seemed a bit short. Even though I was playing with it I still was worried, if that was all I was to expect. Then the first time I ran it down to single digits and charged it was like a new device. Since then I've done my best to disable BlinkFeed and again it seems like I'm getting better life still. I only get the tips and no feeds. I don't even swipe to that page these days.

So I run the test to check the battery and I already lost 35% in 2:25 mins ! I think it is bad. Although the Wi-Fi is turned on and I am chatting, but I think it should last longer !

The first few weeks I was really concerned about battery life on the one coming from an iPhone 4S. Then it seemed like the battery life just got better after use. Now I'm totally happy with it. I get through a full day with no worries.

Mine is pretty consistant. I get around 16hrs per day of my own personal use.

Mine is constant too. It took between 3-5 days of regular charging cycles before it settled. I can get around 16-18 hrs depending on use and using Wi-Fi several hours.

My battery life has been improving, I keep Bluetooth, GPS, LTE and NFC on. Screen brightness auto. Plat at least an hour YouTube...

Tell us what you have turned on and off and what you are doing during that time. Honestly, I can burn through a battery in less than four hours with everything turned on, WiFi, GPS, sync, vibrate, max sound, max brightness, ect. So down 30% battery in one hour is achievable, and averages out close to 3:20 screen time, which falls within me killing my battery in less than four hours.

You ever try running the battery all the way down? Then turn on and make sure it's ran down, charge it all the way to 100, unplug, power down, power back on, charge it some more?

A fun fact, today I've been running my HTC One with it's lowest brightness since this morning. With better battery stats, I'm averaging a 25 hour battery life with five and a half hour screen on time. So at it's lowest brightness, technically if I play on it for five and a half hours I will have a dead battery. So I would start with your brightness and turn that down a little.

I'm always amazed by how some people do not know how to create a new topic and instead hijack a thread.

And I just added fuel to the fire without realizing it. Lol. Get your 30% battery drop in one hour out of here! Ha ha. It's about battery life after a few cycles! And mine rocks! ... About 4 to 5 hours screen time, and about 10 to 18 hour stand by, depending on the day.
