What was your previous device?

LG Voyager -> BB Tour -> Droid X -> Bionic!

It's funny, because on my Voyager, I never used the touch screen. I always used the tactile keyboard. Once I got the X and now the Bionic, I can't imagine needing a physical keyboard anymore. Plus, coming from Blackberry (which was awesome at the time because my husband was deployed and it was global compatible, so we both got one), Android is rocking my world.

I'll be coming from a Nokia 5610 XpressMusic on T-Mobile. I haven't bought it yet, but will be once I get my financial aid and switch to Verizon.

I've had quite a few phones this year..... Droid X, Droid Pro, iPhone 4, Droid X2, BlackBerry Bold 9930, and HTC Trophy most recently. So far I'm loving the Bionic and couldn't really see myself going back to either a BlackBerry or the iPhone.

I was rocking the BB Tour..........went through 5 of them actually thanks to the freaking track ball

what a crappy phone. i mean it was good. solid. reliable. but the BB software is just so behind

BB Curve --> Droid X (huge improvement) --> Thunderbolt for 10 days, returned for battery life --> Bionic

Not as bit improvement this last upgrade (X to Bionic) but still amazing speed and better call quality on the Bionic, IMHO. Also better screen. Battery life excellent! Battery door sucks though. Overall very happy with the Bionic as my next phone.

Samsung Alias 2 > OG Droid (got it right before tiered data)

Samsung Mesmerize (US Cellular - had some customer service issues with my fiance's HTC Desire, jumped ship) -> Thunderbolt (have to return because exchange server did not work at all with it... and battery life.) -> Bionic (which I get tomorrow, hopefully promptly at 9 am when UPS shows up!)

Bunch of Blackberry devices > Moto DX > few replacement DX units > Moto DX2. The DX2 was always laggy from day one, you couldn't use a launcher or the lag was 20 or 30 seconds (!)....and all my music always skipped.
I sold it for $250 US cash on Craigslist and am loving the Bionic...smooth as butter and super fast. :D:D I was getting 10Mb/s down and 3.5Mb/s up while we were driving on I-95 near Stamford this week. Nice. I bought the extended battery and it's coming by UPS and I bought the car dock and second standard battery and charger because I travel a lot.
Once my Moto Xoom tablet gets its 4G/LTE upgrade I will be rocking 2 4g devices all the time.

I upgraded my wife from the Samsung Alias 2. She has just made few calls and send texts. She has had the phone for a day and loves it. She is on the Internet with it, exploring different apps but she still looks to me to customize it for her. As soon as my company orders it, I will be upgrading from a Blackberry Curve 8350. I can't wait. This thing really puts the Curve to shame.

AT&T banded Nexus One running Cyanogenmod.

I reluctantly went back to Verizon, but the Bionic with LTE made it too tempting.

Sammy Fascinate. The super Amoled is def more sharp but the pentile is way better in direct sunlight. Anyone thinking of going to the Prime better be prepared to wait for additional ice cream updates because after owning the fascinate, I realize that Samsung is so late when it comes to official software upgrades. Took forever to get froyo and on my sammy charge for work, it's no where close to getting gingerbread.

The Nexus devices tend to get updates before any other phones due to the fact that they are running stock Android software.

When I last checked they were dropping the nexus name and just have the droid name. Any confirmation?
