It seems that there were a number of BB converts and previous Android phone owners that now have the Incredible. Here's a poll to figure it out!

I was a huge BB user. For the last 5 years infact with a few phones in between. I miss BBM a lot, but its a small price to pay.

Came from an LG Voyager... I have a Moto Q9 for work, which is classified as a smart phone, but I hate it... Once my wife got a BB Tour, I knew I wanted a smartphone with some functionality... Luckily my upgrade date coincided with the Incredible release...

Many BB's before the iPhone3G,Nexus One and DROID Incredible. The later three all all functional on all three carriers. But many BB's before that.

Blackberry just wasn't catching up to the current technology fast enough.

Wow look at the number of BB users.....anyone get the feeling BB users aren't happy with the rate that BB is updating their phone tech? I know I wasn't lol.

+1
I got sick of loading hybrid OSs just to get functionality that other smartphone had a year ago.

I do miss BBM. Seems like nobody uses talk.

i still will have my storm2 and will get a storm 3 when its released. There are some things a google phone just cant do like a BB. I do love my Inc for gaming and internet browsing for now though.

Every notable BB released for the 3 "real" operators during the last 8 years...Got sick of RIM not giving users what they asked for...
I have been a google addict for years, I felt I should give Android a try. I all set to get the Moto Droid, but in trolling the forums to bone up on all things android I notice that the INC was coming, I was impressed by the specs but unsure of life without a physical keyboard I had a painful flashback to those early storm 1 days. But I went to a store that had one and played with it for a few minutes (outright lie) more like an hour. I was sold. Got one on launch day and have been loving it since.

Moto Q> Moto Q9c> Samsung Omnia (heavily modded).

The DI is simply in another class!

Palm Pre Plus, which I thought was a pretty good phone I actually miss some aspects of it. Before that iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPhone and some BB's and Windows Mobile phones before those.

I had a Nexus One on T-Mobile. LOVED the phone, but HATED the network. I was upset when I learned the Nexus One wasn't going to be sold on Verizon, so I picked up the Incredible.

I'm surprised the iPhone wasn't listed in the polls... I'm curious to see how many converts there were from that device...

Whoops. Little bit of an oversight...don't know why I didn't think about including the iPhone. Maybe because I didn't see too many posts about people making the jump. Hopefully those iPhone users will pipe up and let us know they made the switch!
