My previous Verizon phone was the S1. I went to AT&T for a while with my iphone because VZW signal wasn't as strong in my last office building (I know - I was surprised too). Since that I've cancelled AT&T and ordered the DI, and fired up my S1 on the VZW account to use until it shows up.

My previous phone was an iPhone 3gs on at&t. Before that I had the S1 on VZW. Kept the iPhone for 6 months and dropped an average of 3 calls a day. When the DI came out on big red I didn't hesitate to switch back.

Blackberry 9700- storm 2-moto droid. definitely miss blackberry but incredible does so much stuff better

Wow look at the number of BB users.....anyone get the feeling BB users aren't happy with the rate that BB is updating their phone tech? I know I wasn't lol.

Agreed 1000%!!

I had my Storm 2 freeze up on me during a major emergency, so after that I started looking and saw something......incredible on the Verizon.....bad pun intended....

i still will have my storm2 and will get a storm 3 when its released. There are some things a google phone just cant do like a BB. I do love my Inc for gaming and internet browsing for now though.

In no way shape or form am I trying to start a flame war.... just wondering what you feel BB does that Android does not...

here are a few

push twitter
push IM (facebook chat, aim, yahoo etc) gtalk works on the inc of course
a battery that lasts a day no problem
push email and better messaging in general
BBM
world phone capability
Bluetooth VAD

Samsung Rogue (ugh)

I strongly considered the Droid around Christmas, but I just couldn't get over that god-awful keyboard... And when the INC was scheduled to release, I loved it, but couldn't get over the virtual keyboard. Then I went in VZW on release date, played with the Vkeyboard, LOVED IT (surprisingly), and have been loving the phone ever since. :)

good answer...

BBM is about the only thing i will miss......but sms can take its place

For the push email.... is it a big difference? If I send myself an email, it usually takes up to five minutes to receive it on the phone... using a BB Storm 2 at the moment.

gmail, hotmail are instant for me on my storms. Hotmail has 5 minute delay on the Inc though. Yahoo has some big issues on the Inc also.

For some the delay probably is OK. its not a huge deal to me either really. I just know it could be better lol

Came from Storm 1 which I never had a problem with other than horribly slow browser. No random reboots, no dust, no dropped calls. The "had to be something better" internet speed got me interested in Android and the INC. Clearly there is no comparison. Speed, keyboard etc the OS is light years ahead of RIM. I was a little dismayed at Android's email handling compared to BB until I discovered K-9 about 10 hours after I got the INC. gMail push and attachments are every bit as good. Granted if I was on Exchange I might feel differently but I don't know that. There is no way I would go back to BB and the RIM OS at this point. It would be like installing XP on my Windows 7 PC.

Not sure why anybody is surprised at the high migration from BB in this poll. The BB market share in smartphones is huge. There are obviously more users available to switch. I am not sure it says anything statistically viable about BB.
