Would of been nice to add the iphone to this...

I think we would see some also moving off that platform to DROID.

I am still using a Blackberry 9530 Storm 1 on the latest leaked OS. As much as I love Blackberry, it took over a year for RIM to get this phone operating properly. I am not in love with the fact that RIM just doesn't listen to its base customers and works to give them what they need... On top of the lack of horsepower in most of their phones, I have had enough...

Now I am going nuts awaiting the Incredible to ship so I can get out of this phone!

I voted dumb phone, although I had a Palm, but.....

it was a palm 700wx which runs Windows M 6.0, but I had full data blockage on it...so basically I only used it for calender and mp3 player....I called it my faux smartphone, since it looked like one, but really was a glorified mp3 player/phone.

Inc obviously blows it away.

Duvi - Thanks for adding the iPhone.

A few posts back Paul mentioned that he misses the physical keyboard of the Tour. I miss it too, but not for the same reason that's been posted previously. We all know the screen is crap in sunlight, which makes dialing when outdoors a PIA. Not a worry with the physical keyboard...but that's not enough for me to remotely consider going back to RIM. I also won't be a first adapter of a BB again, not until they have proven that they have improved enough to make many things that iPhone and Android users take for granted.

Voted Windows, JUST GOT INC IN THE MAIL!!!!! Initial charge as we speak. Can't wait to transfer off my Q9m.

I think the general thought I'm seeing here, is most people came from smart phones and wanted a faster phone. Especially considering most of us have come from a Blackberry, ex-Storm1 user myself, and from most people I've talked with that made the swap to Android from Blackberry were happy with the BB's capabilities, and in fact liked the message handling better. But like me they wanted a more rich internet and media experience, and from what I've seen on my incredible nothing comes close right now, and all the new Android solutions, including the older Droid answer this issue! I'm so excited about the next generation now it's pathetic how fast I went die hard Blackberry to di ehard Android!

Finally iPhone category was added!! :)

I came from an iPhone 3G (unlocked for T-mobile) but here's a list of my previous phones:

HTC Tytn (unlocked) -> BB Curve 8320 -> iPhone 3G -> Droid Inc.

Loving the Droid Inc -- once I stopped obsessing over battery life! :D

OMG a lot of blackberry users. i knew it was a pretty large amount but didnt know how significant

i came from the Curve 8330

Blackberry 8830 --> Blackberry Storm I --> Incredible (in two weeks!!!)

RIM needs to upgrade...If Google/HTC can do it, why can't RIM? I guess business is their biggest market.

^^^

On first reading your post I thought "Wow, moved from an 8830 to a BB Storm to a Incredible - all in two weeks". LOL!! Guess you meant that your DI will arrive in two weeks. In any event, as a former owner of a BB Storm I myself, I can assure you that you'll LOVE the DI. It was so clunky on the Internet, etc. that I rarely used my Storm. With my DI, surfing is a pleasure...

I Phone 4 is my previous phone. I use that phone one month.
I am not happy with that so i sell that.
