What would it take for you to switch to Dual Core

I just got a new Droid 2, my first Android phone. I think I'm set for awhile. I won't get another phone until it's LTE which won't be in my woods for a really long time.

My contract has been up on Sprint a while now but i cant make up my mind weather to wait or upgrade to lets say a epic 4g or somthing. That HTC speedy is interesting as well. But as somone who is a major fan of tuning computer hardware & overclocking, the dual core really speaks to me and would have more potential to last alot longer due to its hardware.
My mind says to wait a couple months but im itching for a new phone badly hehe.

... In my opinion, if you'd jump all over a phone with a dual core processor just because its dual core.. you're probably not satisfied with your phone at all.

I suggest you eager beavers give it at least a few weeks...

I am currently running the Storm 1... my boss asked that i look into rooting for him and i got myself hooked...glad i didnt waste my new every 2

I am in the exact same boat!!! that itch is just burning me up!!!

There are some that will buy whatever is the latest and greatest just because. There are some that will buy a new product because it has features that they need that are not in their current product.

My EVO get 12-15 hours of battery life on a 4.3" 800x480 screen with 100,000 apps. I video chat, take great 8 MP photos and shot nice HD video. I get a great plan from Sprint with an addded 25% off Spint EVP Discount.

What will be the new thing that a faster phone will do that I can't do already?

I am a big fan on the slide out keyboard but you EVO fans are sure loyal & convincing. just might have to check it out again.
I lost my taste for the touch screen keyboard when i had the instinct which i ended up returning.

Agreed 100%. Although it?s a good feeling always having the latest and greatest, in reality I just want and need a phone that does what I want it to do, when I want it to do it with little to no frustration. My Fascinate does that, and that?s most important to me. I won?t be running out the moment the next big thing comes out, I?m satisfied right now.

I don't need it take anything. I know multi core processing is the way of the future as computers did, so I'm bailing on my epic, either for the Olympus or might wait for a 4g dual core

Although dual core processors would be pretty sweet and I'm assuming crazy fast. I don't see a need for it other then to run more advanced games.

Which let's be honest the games r very good as they r now on iPhone and android so I dunno

I'm sure if a nice phone comes out and it's what I want then ya but well see.
