What would you change?

Front facing stereo speakers is pretty much all I need. The return of the IR blaster would be sweet too.

1) Up the memory to min 128 gigs
2) bigger camera for iris scanner (so works in all conditions)
3) put the exact same speaker that's on the bottom Now on the top in the exact same spot as the bottom. I think it is a good speaker. Just make it dual and it be GREAT.
4) Some how TWEAK the battery to around 4,000 ma. Even if it makes the phone just a tad thicker. If be fine with that.

Other than that. I would change nothing.. I love my Note 8!

So, you've been tasked to work on the Note 9. What would you change from the N8?

Bout the only thing I would, would be a wider screen, but keeping the same height. I had my Nexus 6p out this week and really missed the width it provided.

Make it smaller. I think s8+ size is the max a phone should be.

I would probably make it have a flat screen so every bit of it is fully usable space, not semi curved away.

I would also make it just minimally shorter, like 2 or 3 mm.
