What would you like to see improved on the EVO 4G?

Aside from that...really not much I would change. I don't expect the best from picture and video quality. For that there's our stand-alones. Never would I use a smartphone to shoot video I needed pristine quality on.

But on to what I was really going to say...4G consistency. That's it. That's all I'd really like fixed. I'd like to consistentyly get 3 mbs down and at least 1.5 mbs up. Not only in terms of speeds but also coverage. This is Houston, 4th largest populated city in the US. Get those towers some 4G roids.

What about copy and paste? This can be A LOT better. I can't copy a text message, but instead I can only forward it. I cannot copy one or two words, but it instead copies the entire thread. As a former Pre owner (its actually sitting on my desk as a backup) I long for the ability to copy and paste things much easier. Cannot edit email text from a reply or forwarded message either.

This is a heck of a phone though.

I would like it to charge like my old blackberry, with a nice table charging pod, and not plug in to it, just have the medal contacts on the bottom and it just sits in it. also go to clock mode when its on charge. kind of a little table clock/alarm

4G coverage here (Boise Idaho) seems to be spotty at best.

You can have a 4 bar signal at one spot, and no signal at all 1 to 10 feet away.
I have no such problems with 3G, only 4G.

That and Froyo would be Great.

I think that its a little silly that the first point of contact with a flat surface is the camera face... that and the back of the kickstand (acceptable) get destroyed within a few days on a caseless phone

- Better pictures and video for sure. You would think that sense landscape would be a basic?

I don't have mine yet, so all of these are based purely on what I've read/seen:

- Better quality/speed photo/video capture (based on reviews/test shots I've seen)

- Fix the reversed image on the front-facing camera

- Froyo

- Sense home screen landscape mode

1. Better camera quality. I'm satisfied with it (especially after coming from an older Blackberry), but after seeing the iPhone 4's camera in person, I realize that the EVO's is clearly inferior. I'm mainly talking about video quality here; regular pictures were very similar between the two devices. Then again, part of the reason the iPhone 4's video looked better may have been because of it's higher resolution/smaller screen, not just the camera.

3. Better quality screen. A resolution update would be nice, but I'm mainly talking about colors. The mere 65k colors becomes somewhat noticeable when viewing and images or pictures with gradients in them. SAMOLED would be great!

4. Better GPU (like in the Samsung Galaxy S)

5. Wireless/Contact charging like on Blackberry's.

Bluetooth notifications would be great. Auto answer w/Bluetooth headset would be great. Bluetooth that works like the TP2 does would be great.

LED notifications are mostly useless. What is needed are AUDIBLE notifications that repeat at set intervals for missed calls/SMS. I hope to god that Evo has this, because it was missing on WebOS for months which was a nightmare for me (until homebrew came up with a great patch).

Bluetooth/Voicemail

When checking "voicemail", must listen via phone speaker instead of bluetooth. This was not the case using "Windows mobile phones". Bluetooth is Plantronics Discovery 975.

Still a great phone!
