What's "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode"?

Under "Mobile Network" in Settings? It says it uses LTE service to "improve voice and other communications". Should it be left on or off? Is it just privacy thing to allow the phone to dial "home" in the background? Thanks.

It's VoLTE (aka HD Voice aka Advanced Calling). Keep it on. If you turn it off, you might not be able to surf the web and be on a call at the same time.

On AT&T, that also enables RCS functionality in Android Messages, at least with other AT&T subscribers.
