What's one thing you dislike about your Galaxy S3?

Two things: First, the button locations (I much prefer the volume buttons on the opposite side of the phone, as on my Evo 4G, and it's too easy to accidentally hit the volume buttons while trying to press the power button. Second, it's too darn slippery. This is the first phone I've ever bothered with a case. I'd rather not add the bulk, but the S3 is just too easy to lose your grip on. I don't know what Samsung was thinking.

What kind of bugs me is the animation for the status bar power widget thing. Like when it slides and I need to wait to toggle wifi.

It's kind of like they want to show us every time there are a ton of toggle buttons now. Would be nice if it had a "do not show again" option to click. I wouldn't have realized all were there if it didn't scroll that first time, but now I get it..tons more toggle buttons lol

I've shaved down the amount of toggles in my notification bar because of this exact reason. Remove enough toggles so you only have five and then it doesn't scroll anymore.

Do this by going into settings - display - notification panel.

I found I didn't really need anymore than five toggles anyway.

Hmmm.. if they do that, then it should be very customizable.

A lot of those things could be changed with custom roms.

The thing that took really long to get used to coming from more non-google/samsung phones was the phones size. It's still not ideal grip for say going for a run outside in the city. The way I describe it someone could slap it out of your hand

The other thing was that the volume buttons are the exact opposite sides on motorola phones. THAT took a while to get used to coming from motorola

The volume up and down are so thin that they can be difficul to differentiate when trying to use a key combination for a screen shot or to go into odin or boot menu

Yeah still not in the USA yet.

For some reason I've don't want to root my phones. It's my home phone also, the reason I don't have to go into the office every day and my weather alert radio, which is very necessary is "tornado country" and i don't have time to deal with possible problems from rooting.

The lack of group messaging and random things like maps running in the background killing my battery

I handles switching from one app thread to the other poorly. too much dependency on the home button resulting a poor productivity experience.

Try "dock4droid" mate

It has a terrible limitation of multi window apps, pushing me to just abandon TW

There are just a few things that bother me about the S3. Even when the screen is locked and in standby you can accidentally raise/lower the volume. One other thing that's annoying is not being able to turn off the cameras shutter sound. Makes being a peeping Tom that much harder. :)

1) Too damn slippery.
2) Position of volume and power buttons - way too easy to active them and they should not be directly across from each other.

Iphones are the same stupid product repeated over and over. The average apple user waste 4 thousand dollars more than an android user or nokia user. Iphone are old phone basically there boring. Galaxy s3 has a faster core processor and better megapixels. Its got widgets live wallpapers smart stay so much more things than the iphone. They do NOTHING different.
