Whats the best Galaxy Note 8 case for ultimate drop protection up till now? February 2018

In my opinion and experience you don't need a screen protector with this phone, just get a good case which protects from drops. The Tech 21 evo check is the best in my experience and I have the Defender as well, the Tech 21 despite being thinner is better at drop protection.

I have been saying this very thing until two minutes ago. Just picked up a gnarly scratch. I never keep it in a pocket with anything else, I never put it in a dirty pocket and I never put it face down. No idea where it came from.

Damn, sorry to hear it. I am rough with my phone and it's held up fine. I hate that screen protectors take away from the experience of using this great screen especially with these curved screens, none of them seem great even the Whitestone has issues

I use otter box but I use the symmetry cases they're lighter than the defender
